Changes to the estimated service timeframe would be extremely helpful and reduce frustration. I took my 2021 Tahoe in for an "SD Card Error." The message was "SD card has been removed." I was told that the service would require a 3 - 5 day diagnostic even for this simple problem, which I researched online. I took my truck in at 8:30 am for the appointment prepared to leave it there for several days. Fortunately, the service representative called me later that day and told me the problem was fixed (with a new SD card) and that my truck was ready. That 1-day timeframe was much more reasonable, obviously, but I was frustrated that it could have taken up to 5 days just for the diagnostic. There is a better way.
